How to Create a Resource Site in TypePad

• Login to TypePad
• Select the Blog you want to duplicate by clicking on the Blogs tab in the top menu bar
• Select Add a blog
  This will take you to the Configuration screen
  Give your new resource blog a name
  Change the name of the blog folder if necessary
  Deselect Visibility (There's no need to publicize your resource site in search engines)
  Click Create Blog

Next, you will be taken to the Overview screen

• Click Choose a design
• Sroll down to Your Designs
• Find the design you want to duplicate
• Click on the Actions button which appears on the same row of the design you will duplicate, click Apply

Your design has now been applied to your new resource blog.

You should see the following message at the top of the screen: The selected design has been applied to your blog. View your blog.

After viewing your blog, you can return to the Design tab and select Content to get started working with your layout and adding new elements.
